Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel - Customer Reviews

I had stayed in the Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel many times and the experience has always been great. I love that you can just park your car and leave it there for the duration of the holiday and its ... cheaper than many other car parks. The staff are very friendly and helpful when I was arriving back from New York at 5.30 am I was told just pick up the courtesy phone in the airport and I would be collected which I did and they send the minibus for me. ---

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very reasonable when booked through the internet. It was very clean, the room was very nice and well appointed. The staff were friendly and assisted us whenever possible. It is also the closest hotel to the Dublin airport. We would stay again.

What a convenient location. I returned my rental car to Dan Dooley (which is right next door to the hotel) and then just walked over to the hotel. What could be easier? And the hotel shuttle to the ... airport in the morning made for a stress-free overnight stay. The room was fine and comfortable. The bar and restaurant both excelled. Highly recommended for location and convenience. ---

Having stayed in the other Airport hotels the Carlton is by far the best in every way. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our night before flying out. We were delayed on the ... way back because of the volcanic ash problem but there was no problem with the extra days in the carpark. We will definitely stay at the Carlton every time we are leaving from Dublin Airport. ---

Our stay was an anxious one thanks to the ash plume,but the concern and friendly helpfulness of the staff meant a very great deal. A longer stay would have been nice in other circumstances! We felt the meals to be rather costly..sorry!

My husband and I stayed (for the second time) the night before our early morning flight. It is a great location to Dublin airport. You can keep your car in the carpark also when going away. Staff are ... friendly, rooms are clean, the fire alarm went off in the early hours, but not a big deal. The bus runs every half hour too and from the airport, bus driver so nice. Would recommend this hotel if catching an early morning flight. ---

Needed a hotel at the last second and expected to grit our teeth and make do, but the hotel was great. Desk staff were helpful and fast, room was clean, amenities very good, and best of all, our room ... was QUIET. Keep in mind we travel with a little "white noise" machine, but even with that, airport hotels can rarely be helped. This Carlton was outstanding. We didn't try the restaurant or bar, but they were certainly popular looking spots with happy patrons, so we were tempted (but too tired). Comfortable beds, great bedding - next time I travel (even though I have friends and family within 30 minutes of the airport) we'll be staying here again not just because of convenience to the airport, but because we really enjoyed our stay. ---

excellent stay again at the Carlton. Arrived hungry and tired after a late flight and the man at the bar looked after us very well by bringing us up some lovely food. Much appreciated.

After traveling for 3 weeks my one night stay before flying home to the States was superb! I had a luxurious bath and and the bed was so comfortable. The woman at the front desk gave me directions to downtown and printed out everything I needed. I felt taken care of.

This time around I only booked a car park space and shuttle bus to the airport, but having stayed in one of the lovely rooms before, I knew that the service and staff would be excellent. I was proven ... right one again. The parking rates, if booked online are better than the Airport or Quickpark can offer, the shuttle bus brings you to the airport at a time pre-arranged by you (this can also be done online, at time of booking) and is waiting on your return to bring you back to the hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous as always. I cannot fault this hotel. The prices are good, the food and drink excellent and the service second to none. Overall the Carlton offers excellent value for money at a very convenient location to the airport. ---
