Room was excellent and the free upgrade very much appreciated. However, the restaurant/bar area was very disappointing and didn't seem to match the description on the website. Added to that, the food was really pretty bad and with wine ended up quite expensive. We would stay again for the room and the convenience, but would plan to eat before arrival.

I refer to your online review relating to your experience at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport recently and would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with me. I am pleased that you had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and would like to apologise for our shortcomings in the bistro. I would like to assure you that I will address the issue with both the kitchen and service team in a bid to get to the bottom of this as we normally receive great comments about our food and service. Nonetheless I am grateful for your comments as this provides me with the opportunity to improve things where necessary.

With an early morning flight, we needed to stay close to Dublin airport. Our room was quite nice, roomy and very clean. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our reasonably-priced late meal in the restaurant. ...
The front desk clerk was extremely pleasant. Parking is free,and the hotel is just five minutes from the airport. I will stay there again and recommend this hotel. The accommodations are similar to moderate US hotels such as a Hilton. ---

I had a very restful night in a delightful room. The staff were so kind both at reception and at breakfast. I must mention the two very kind drivers of the hotel bus. I have never been given such good service in any airport hotel. Thanks to all of you. I will be back.

Stayed overnight at this superb hotel. Our room was very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, modern bathroom and fluffy robes.
It was clear to us that each cooked breakfast was freshly prepared ...
as we could almost hear the sizzle from the succulent, very tasty bacon and sausage.
While all the above bodes well for the Carlton, it is the staff who are the real stars. At reception we were greeted in such a professional, friendly manner that we felt right at home. We had a delicious meal in the bar and the staff could not have been nicer. The courtesy bus driver is in a league of his own though, we were almost disappointed getting out at the airport. He is the perfect "meet and greet" person. Funny, jovial, more than helpful and a pleasure to come across.
Altogether, a wonderful experience at the Carlton, thanks to all.
We will be back again and again. ---

room was perfect, food plentiful and served beautifully and the manager and staff on the day could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived with a red carpet and champange awaiting us. I would and have already recommended this hotel again and again! ---

Stayed for night before early flight. The staff were very friendly, the room was large and excellent in every way. We had a full Irish breakfast and it was very good. I've stayed in nearly all the hotels around the airport and this is by far the best. Everything was top class

We stayed in your hotel before we went on our honeymoon the suite was amazing and thank yo so much for the fruit and swan towels these touches will guarantee that we will def be back and the location to the airport is ideal thank you

I stayed at Carlton on my trip to Germany. The room service was excellent. Very courteous staff. I'm really impressed and would definitely recommend Carlton to my friends.

From the guy on the desk when we arrived to the lady who checked us out everything was brilliant. Loved my experience in this hotel, staff were excellent, room was fabulous, our midnight sambo and breakfast was lovely...didn't wanna go home!! Thank you for perfect 1st night off since having new baby :)

If you are driving to and flying from Dublin Airport then this is the only place to stay. Modern hotel with really great rooms and a nice bar and reception area. Staff are really friendly. The car ...
parking is way cheaper than the official car parks and much easier to get in and out of. The shuttle bus and the driver couldn't be better. You are a matter of a few minutes drive from the terminal building. Don't bother with any other hotel at the airport except this one - Ive stayed in them all and this is by far the best value. ---
