For the convenience of our guests here in the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport and to help answer some of your queries, please find below our frequently asked questions.

Q0. ‘We Care about your Safety’?

Q1. Do you provide a Shuttle Bus Service?

Yes! Our shuttle bus service runs 24 hours, every half an hour between Dublin airport and the Hotel. If you are due to arrive after midnight, you can contact reception on +353 18667500 and they will send the shuttle to you. Pick up location is Zone 16.

We do not offer transport from the Car Rental Facilities.  You can take the car rental company’s shuttle to the airport and from there take our shuttle bus to the hotel.

Q2. Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes our Wi-Fi is one of the best in the area – allowing up to 600 delegates access at any given time and offering 1Gb download speeds. This is complimentary to all guests and meeting attendees at Carlton. To access Guests must select ‘CarltonGo’ Network from device and enter password ‘vipguest’.

Q3. What is the transport options to and from the City centre?

Carlton Dublin Airport is conveniently located along the main bus corridor to/from Dublin’s City Centre. The Fare is €3.30 and we encourage guest to Download the Dublin bus app for realtime information.

Carlton Dublin Airport also provides guests with an electric GoCar which is parked at our EV charging station. Download the GoCar app to access the car and explore Dublin at your own pace. 

Alternatively please call reception and a member of our team would be more than happy to arrange a taxi transfer for you.

Q4. What is the Difference between pre-pay offers and our flexible rates? What is the cancellation policy for both?

Pre-pay offers give to our guests a relevant discount which is applied at the time of booking, the credit card provided during the booking process is charged straight away This charge is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled nor amended. For our Flexible rates, we do require a credit card in order to guarantee the booking but your card won’t be charged until check-out.  However, in the case of a no-show, we will charge the provided credit card for the first night of your stay.
Cancellations should be made directly to the property AT LEAST 24 HOURS (excluding Non-refundable offers) before your expected arrival time. If you fail to do this or in case of no-show, you will be charged the first night's accommodation cost. Deposit and booking fee (where charged) are Non-refundable.

Q5. How to Cancel & What is your cancellation Policy

The booking confirmation email that you will receive on completing your booking will contain full details on how to cancel your booking online

Q6. Does your hotel offer car parking online?

At the moment car parking cannot be booked on our website. If you are booking a bedroom through our website you can add on car parking for a reduced rate of €5 per day, thereafter the rate for the car park is €10 per day. You do not need to make a reservation to use our car park. As you come in through the barriers you will get a ticket. When you come back you present and pay that ticket at Reception.  Parking is on a first come, first serve basis. 

Q7.  Do you have a Leisure Centre and Pool?

We do not have a Leisure Centre in the hotel, however guests can avail of our 24 hour fitness suite which offers a small number of cardio machines and weights. In addition you may contact the reception during your stay to avail of our exclusive discount with Sportlinks which is located just 5 minutes from the hotel

Q8.  What type of plugs sockets do you have in your rooms?

In each room you will find the standard 3 prong type with 3 rectangular prongs, USB & Universal plug sockets. European & universal adaptors can also be purchased from the hotel.

Q9. What activities is there to do in the area?

The Hotel is a 5 minute drive from the M1/M50 Motorways; 20 minutes from Dublin City and just 90 minutes from Belfast city. For shopping, our staff love the Pavilion Shopping Centre (10 minute drive) Omni Shopping Centre (5 minute drive) and IKEA (5 minute drive). For Leisure trips there is lots to do and our favourites are Malahide Castle, Tayto Park, Howth fishing village, The Helix, Glasnevin Cemetery Tours, Botanic Garden, Phoenix Park & Dublin Zoo(all located a very short drive from the hotel)

Q10. How do I check for availability in Hotel?

Q11. Does your hotel cater for families?

Yes, absolutely!  Our hotel is extremely Family friendly with complimentary homemade Carlton Cookies, prepared as a special welcome for the kids. Each family room also has access to the latest blockbuster and child friendly movies along with a selection of TV channels on the in room 32 Inch Smart TVs.  Families travelling can also enjoy the close proximity to some of Dublin’s top attractions such as Malahide Castle & playground, Howth fishing village, The Helix, Glasnevin Cemetery, Botanic Gardens, Jumpzone & Phoenix Park (all located a very short drive from the hotel) Along with Jumpzone & Kart City just a stone’s throw from the hotel.

Q12. Does your Hotel have meeting rooms?

Yes, we have a wide range of meeting room sizes available. From the smaller intimate meeting rooms required to larger scaled conferences and meetings. We can cater for up to 320 attendees. We have excellent rates available along with purpose-built rooms, equipped with all the very latest technology, and each boasting natural daylight and high speed internet access, we have everything you need to make your meeting, event or conference in Dublin a success. Q13. Do you provide Laundry Services?

Yes we work closely with an external provider. In each room we have placed a bag for laundry and a price list. Laundry must be brought to reception by 9.00am for same day return Monday - Friday.
